Starting exploring some ideas, albeit Ai generated, I can hardly take credit, but already feel like I have achieved something. What I am not sure as it is quite deceptive, thinking these images belong to you, that they come from you, yet in part they are , as this process in one where you “”dream up” a idea and the AI makes every attempts to return your vision.
This time I tried DreamStudio, and really wanted to understand how I could get images as close to what they are in my mind as possible.
Inspired by doodles in my bullet journal, I liked the idea of repeat patterns, simple geometry and black and white.
I also wanted to integrate the notion of fluidity and movement:
My first prompt was:
A landscape in monochrome with swirls of black birds
Playing with some of the available parameters, I didn’t expect the image to become more complex, not so much with more elements but with increasing the density I suppose, of the main element: geometric landscape in monochrome with swirls.
.
Looking at further guidance I modified the prompt with different weightings. Not sure what I was trying to achieve, maybe a more streamlined, of cleaner image:
A geometric landscape:1 | in monochrome:1 | with swirls of black birds:.5
A geometric landscape:.7 | in monochrome:.8 | with swirls of black birds:.9
A geometric landscape:.2 | in monochrome:.4| with swirls of black birds:.9
two very different returns here, I think it is trying to tell me I have very little agency on the creative process of this AI. Which I knew, but it is probably good to have that clarified before getting in deeper in this exploration.
