Generative backgrounds

Using code to generate visuals has always interested me but I never reached a level of coding ability high enough to be able to claim interesting let alone striking imagery.

However, 10 years have passed since I last tried, and since then, great work has been produced and continues to be produced by talented and more so committed practitioners. Tools have also changed to allow artists to engage with generative art with more accessible languages and platforms, node based programs are also popular, intersecting and integrating  image and sound in immersive, interactive work through one tool only.

Still wondering which avenue I will take for this particular project, I set out to explore, AI, of course as it has recently taken the creative community by storm, and opened itself to a mass creative and social experiment, legal also, and probably a lot more we are not ready for.

I am initially interested in the outputs, the specific style that is starting to emerge, but also in what it can teach me in honing my inputs to it. Will this help me in my learning coding?, will it help me understand concepts i failed to understand before, by being forced to “question” the right way?

Where can I go from here:
